Our Home in Spring

Spring in Texas is so gorgeous. Here's a picture of our old home, built around 1900. It is just one of several beautiful old homes in Hamilton, Texas.

A place for the birds

I'm an avid birdwatcher and this little fountain provides a perfect spot for them to cool off in the hot Texas summer sun.

Can you have too many flower beds? I don't think so. This one has a wonderful yard sign which says, "Imagine." Not a bad thought to have.

I planted morning glories in a large pot, but one of the seeds fell over into the adjoining flower bed. The result: a fine has grown up and wrapped itself around this old lantern.

Love our little fountain

A local artisan makes these lovely fountains. The sound of the little waterfall is so relaxing!

Aren't these beautiful! These were very popular in England when we were there...and now they are blooming in central Texas!

When Luke recently spent the night at our house, he asked to take his new stickers to bed. When we got ready for bed and checked their beds, this is what we found. He never even blinked when the flash went off...

Our little Mia is so full of life. She recently celebrated her second birthday. What a little charmer!

Wedding Day!

Todd & Jennifer were married this past December. She brought four children to this new union and Todd brought two. It was one of the most beautiful weddings we've ever attended. We could not be happier!

Little Drummer Boy...

Since he was old enough to hold a drumstick, Luke has been fascinated with drums. He completely wore out the first toy set, so this past Christmas, he received a "real" set of drums. You wouldn't believe how well he plays. It's amazing!

Grandkids and Camp T-shirts

One of the most popular crafts at "Cousin's Camp" are the annual t-shirts that we make. Here they are modeled by Anna Rose, Mia, Luke, Reilly, and Dustin.

"Cousin's Camp"

Every summer, Karen and I get all the grandkids together for several days of what we call "Cousin's Camp." We have activities, games, crafts, etc. planned for them, and it's a great way for them to create wonderful memories.
