Back to TopWhere can I find Riney's book, "All the Difference?"Riney's best-selling book, "All the Difference," is available only through Jordan Publishing Company. An order form is available on this website, or you may fax an approved purchase order to 254-386-4769. In addition, you can order online using a credit card from our website. Simply go to "The Company Store." The book, now in its fifth printing, is available only in hardback editions with a colorful dust jacket. This makes a wonderful gift for any educator or parent and can be personally autographed to the recipient(s) if requested. Cost is $22.95. Back to TopWhat does Riney charge to speak?Prices vary according to length of presentation, number of attendees, location of event, etc. Simply contact the office at 254-386-4769 and speak to Karen who can determine the fee based on the above criteria. Engagements need to be booked as far in advance as possible. The most requested dates are for the start of school (usually mid-August) and the beginning of the second semester (early January.) Remember, however, that the Riney Jordan Company can provide you with additional quality speakers if he is unavailable. (See next question.) Back to TopIf Riney is not available, does he ever recommend anyone?Absolutely. And you can be confident that the recommended speaker will be professional, inspirational, and experienced. If Riney is not available, we encourage you to inquire about other speakers who are associated with our company. Only speakers who have the same basic philosophy about children are recommended or invited to be an associate of the company. At the present time, only one other individual is serving as an associate. Riney is pleased to recommend the reknown Dr. Don Newbury, former President of Howard Payne College. He is a dynamic speaker who will touch your funny bone and your heart. He is excellent... and will present a motivational speech that will inspire your audience and leave you wishing for more. Back to TopAre there any other materials available from the Riney Jordan Company?In addition to Riney's book, "All the Difference," a number of other items are also available. The large, four-color "Today" poster (16" x 20") is used in classrooms across the country. And, due to the large order we recently had published, we are able to offer them now at a cost of $6.00 each. (These had been selling for $8.00 each.) Three CDs have recently been produced. Each contains over an hour of Riney's stories, anecdotes, and personal observations. The CDs retail for $10 each, or the three-volume set for $25.00 Beautiful four-color bookmarks of five of Riney's most requested poems are available for $2.00 each. These have a lovely nylon tassel and are perfect gifts for those who work with children. There are specific poems for teachers, secretaries, food service workers, and bus drivers. More than 90% of the books that are sold are all personally autographed. In fact, many school districts order scores of books and submit it with a list of recipients, and they are personally autographed with an encouraging note from Riney. There is no additional charge for this service. If you wish for your book(s) to be signed and/or have a personal note, please indicate that on the order form or attach a separate note. Many school districts have decided to offer Riney's book, All the Difference, as a gift to retiring teachers. He will personally autograph each one if you submit a typed list and allow adequate time for a large number of books to be signed. For large orders of 25 books or more, a discount can be offered. Back to TopIn addition to motivational talks, are there workshops available?Several workshops are available and receive outstanding evaluations. One of the most popular workshops is entitled "Seven Steps to Happiness...as a 'teacher'." This workshop is designed for anyone who works with children, i.e. teachers, aides, volunteers, etc. A 24-page workbook ($1.50) is required of each participant. This may either be a half-day or full-day workshop. "You've Gotta' have HEART" is an inspirational workshop originally designed for para-professionals. It is filled with humorous anecdotes and helpful information to make these important members of the staff realize their crucial role in working with children. "Taking Care of Business" is a workshop that emphasizes the public relations role of school employees. It introduces participants to public relations laws and statistics in an exciting and memorable way. A 24-page workbook ($1.50) is required of each participant. This may either be a half-day or full-day workshop. Another popular workshop is entitled "Back to Basics: 10 Characteristics of Successful Parents."
